Work Experience

February 2012 -  March 2020

March 2020 - April 2024

April 2024 - Present

I began my career as a Master's level clinician at Ozarks Healthcare Behavioral Health Center. I worked to complete my licensure and became fully licensed in 2014. During this time I gained skills and knowledge in the areas of initial assessment and diagnosis, individual & family therapy, group therapy and crisis intervention. This time spent in outpatient mental health assisted me in gaining experience with a myriad of mental health conditions including: depression, anxiety, trauma conditions, personality concerns, grief and loss, marriage and family relationships, child and adolescent concerns, substance abuse, crisis intervention, and more.

During this time, I continued employment at Ozarks Healthcare Behavioral Health Center; however, began to build programs such as Emergency Room Enhancement (ERE) and Crisis Stabilization Center (CSC). Both of these programs were grant funded by the Department of Mental Health and developed to assist those who have difficulty with mental health, physical, and financial stability. These programs were designed to support both community and hospital partners while simultaneously working to target acute care clients who often struggle with barriers of homelessness and substance abuse.

April 2024 marks the opening of Guiding Light Mental Health Counseling. In this capacity I will work hard to implement the skills I've learned during my journey of growth as a licensed clinician. My passion of seeing hope restored and lives changed will continue on into a career of my own private practice. I am excited and eager for the journey ahead!
